KP 17th in the world rankings

Following his century against Sri Lanka (First Test), KP has moved up 9 places to 17th in the world test rankings.

Presumably he doesn't have a full ranking yet (don't you have to play 40 innings or something) but a very encouraging start in Test
cricket nonetheless. I must admit I thought he would be much more successful in ODIs and pretty inconsistent in Tests with his style of play.

I still think he perhaps lacks a little concentration at times, but he's only young and hopefully he'll improve.

It just seems like he gets off to a good start, looks set for a ton and falls short quite often.

It'll be fascinating to see how he copes Down under this winter. Don't know if he's ever played in Australia before (grade cricket, perhaps). I wonder how the Aus bowlers are going to attack him - keep it away from his legs, obviously.
