It has been announced today that Robert Croft will step down as captain. He has been a great captain and has lead his team to a few titles. Well done Crofty. David Hemp will take over the captaincy.
Led his team to a few titles? Glamorgan have been diabloical in the last two or three years, I'm not at all surprised Croft has gone. I like him as a player though, and I don't believe their poor record was all his fault.
At least they haven't made an overseas player captain - unless you consider Hemp as one - he was born in Bermuda.
