Is it just me or does Warne not seem to bowl himself that much?
Saving himself for the Ashes?

Can anyone help me out?
Ever since last years Ashes series, my 10 son has been a huge Shane Warne fan. He has never seen him play yet and I want to take him to a Hampshire match to make his day.
Do you know what games that Warne is due to play in (home or away)?

Hes captain of Hampshire, so he should be playing in all their games, injury excepted!
I guess the best think to do would be to call Hampshire before your planning on going to double check though.
Perhaps a 20/20 game might be interesting to watch?
Home games are:
Hampshire Hawks vs Middlesex Crusaders Thursday 29th June Match Starts at 5:30pm Hampshire Hawks vs Essex Eagles Monday 3rd July Match Starts at 5:30pm Hampshire Hawks vs Surrey Brown Caps Thursday 6th July Match Starts at 5:30pm Hampshire Hawks vs Sussex Sharks Friday 7th July Match Starts at 5:30pm

Thanks Ash,
I normally take him to Lancashire games when I can (I only live 30 miles away in Liverpool). I just wasn't sure how often he turned out, if it's anything like Freddie Flintoff then he would only play a bit part at best.
Anyway, thanks for the advice. I will email the club and see what they advise.
cheers.... Kenny

It sounds like Warney won their latest C & G game almost single handedly, well according to some reports anyway!

You must remember that when he plays for Hants he usually has a 2nd spinner (Shaun Udal) in the side. Whereas with Australia he's generally the sole spinner. Anyway it would be surprising if he overbowled himself for his county, with a lot of cricket to come this season. But at least he'll get a rest in October!

Shane Warne is expected to miss the 20/20 fixtures as he may be returning to Australis to have treatment for a long standing bicep injury.
