Speaking in order to clarify the matter, Fulton commented:
‘In response to recent speculation I would like to make it clear that I have not announced any forthcoming retirement.
‘Neither myself nor Kent County Cricket Club have made any definite plans about my future.
‘I am, as I have always been, totally committed to the club and would like to continue playing my part in its future success.'

I doubt if he'll go on much longer though. Two seasons at the most.
Players seem to retire much younger than they used to - 36 or 37 now the preferred age.
