Sounds like Mark Ealham had a good game

1 for 15 off his 4 overs and then 31 no off 7 balls!  Shocked

Impressive figures in any form of the game.

A masterclass of power hitting from Mark Ealham launched Nottinghamshire Outlaws to a remarkable win over Leicestershire by five wickets.

The veteran all-rounder came to the wicket with the hosts needing 31 to win with three overs left and blasted the hapless David Masters for 30 runs off the 18th over.

Ealham finished unbeaten on 31 off just seven balls, hitting four sixes and a four, with top-scorer David Hussey completing the win with 11 balls to spare by lofting Dinesh Mongia for four to finish 44 not out.

Earlier, Ealham had shown all his skills with the ball with figures of 1-15 off four overs after the visitors won the toss and chose to bat but found boundaries at a premium.

First AJ Harris produced a brilliant spell with the new ball, conceding just 13 runs from his four overs and picking up the wicket of Darren Robinson, caught behind, with the second delivery of the match.

And dangerman Darren Maddy also failed to account for Harris’ away swing with a sliced drive high to a retreating Hussey at cover.

Charlie Shreck also picked up two wickets, with HD Ackerman bowled behind his legs by an inswinger and Mongia caught behind.

Paul Nixon then chipped the off-spin of Graeme Swann to deep mid-wicket before Foxes skipper Jeremy Snape staged a mini-recovery with John Sadler.

The pair scampered singles effectively and also hit Swann for 16 in his final over, with Snape smashing a straight six, before Sadler hit Samit Patel’s left-arm spin out of the ground.

The left-hander was caught at deep cover, and Ealham tied things up by bowling Snape and running out Adam Griffith off the last ball.

Notts looked as though they would make a hash of chasing 137 when Stephen Fleming was bowled off his pads in the first over from Stuart Broad, Swann was caught behind and Patel
top-edged a pull to cover.

But Hussey and Will Smith kept them in the hunt with some quick running of their own before Smith perished on the mid-wicket boundary.

Chris Read hit one imperious six before being bowled by Mongia looking to cut, but that only brought Ealham to the crease to bring the game to a spectacular close.
