4-0 to Sri Lanka?

Cook and Solanki in to replace KP and Collingwood (Presumably rested)  Shocked

Collingwood has probably been our best bowler in the series so far!

Looks like another defeat for England.

Not seen our bowling today but on paper we look expensive.

Can we not learn to bowl a decent line?  Ugly & Stupid

285 ao, close than i thought it would be.

Interestingly only 3 of our players scored under 20, Solanki, Ali & Harmison (Not out), yet none of them scored over 50, if one of our players had gone on to a bigger score it could have been a different story.

They need to take a fresh look at batting at the start of the innings. Sri Lanka got 103 off their first 15 overs, we're usually 60-70 - and behind the clock for the rest of the game. Could it be worth trying a pinch-hitter I wonder? It's gone rather out of fashion in the last few years.

Could be worth a punt, what have we got to lose!

Any idea who could / should play that pinch hitting role?

Plunkett could be worth a go on the evidence of the last game. Only trouble is his bowling has been so ineffective, he's in danger of losing his place!
