I can statistically prove that Sachin is best ODI batsman

OK.. first let's think of all of Sachin's worthy contemporaries:
Lara, Ponting, Inzamam, Dravid, Richards, Ganguly, M Waugh, Anwar.

Keeping in mind that each player has played a different number of games, Sachin leads the pack with 41 centuries (out of 384 matches).

Let's pretend if each of the above mentioned players played 384 matches, how many centuries would each have???

1) Lara: currently: 19 centuries from 299 matches
giving him: 24.40 centuries from 384 matches
round that off to 25
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2) Ponting: currently: 23 centuries from 280 matches
giving him: 31.54 centuries from 384 matches
round that off to 32
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

3) Inzamam: currently: 10 centuries from 378 matches
giving him: 10.15 centuries from 384 matches
round that off to 11
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

4) Dravid: currently: 12 centuries from 315 matches
giving him: 14.62 centuries from 384 matches
round that off to 15
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

5) Richards: currently: 11 centuries from 187 matches
giving him: 22.58 centuries from 384 matches
round that off to 23
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

6) Ganguly: currently: 22 centuries from 289 matches
giving him: 29.23 centuries from 384 matches
round that off to 30
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

7) M. Waugh: currently: 18 centuries from 244 matches
giving him: 28.32 centuries from 384 matches
round that off to 29
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Anwar: currently: 20 centuries from 247 matches
giving him: 31.09 centuries from 384 matches
round that off to 31
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SO YOU SEE, even if all these guys played as many matches as Sachin, the closest would be Ricky Ponting with 32 centuries, meaning NINE short of Sachin.

I'm gonna make this sticky so you all can appreciate it for a while
