I noticed we don't have a thread on this series. Has nobody else been following it? The second Test (of four) is in progress now. India got 588 and made West Indies follow on 373 behind, but the loss of all of the fourth day will have helped the Windies towards a draw. They drew the first Test with nine wickets down at the end.
Sachin Tendulkar had to pull out of the tour, and Sourav Ganguly wasn't selected.
I've been following it a little, i had'nt noticed that there was no thread on it though!
I heard Tendulkar was considering playing some club cricket in England to get himself back to fitness, and he feels he'll get less attention in England than India, which i guess is true.
Here's what Brian Lara has to say about the state of the West indies bowling attack. Those of us who saw the conveyor belt of fast bowlers in the 1980s would never have guessed that they'd be short of fire power!

Poor old Windies, after such a good start they collapsed.
India 128/6 though so if they can polish them off quickly you never know they might be able to pull it off. (The fingers crossed smiley would go here!!!)
Well as usual it's all down to Lara isn't it. I wouldn't rule out West Indies getting something like 270, but if BCL goes it'll be the usual house of cards job.
