England vs Sri Lanka - 3rd and Final Test
« on: May 30, 2006, 11:27 AM »

Unchanged squad for Fridays game.

Not too much of a suprise, although i thought Harmison would have been fit. Although it gives them another look at Plunkett & Mahmood.

What do we think then, same team?

I think so, they'll want to see as much of Plunkett and Mahmood before the winter. I do feel for Jon Lewis though, he's had a storming start to the season.

Interesting that they left Mahmood out, seeing as he's the paciest in the squad.

Good luck Jon.

England are now 123/5! We need some good batting from Collingwood and Jones, after that we're into our tail!  Shocked

If you compare our tail against Sri Lanka's so far this series, they win hands down.

But with Monty at no.11 i'm not banking on us adding many more runs in this innings!

If we are going to win the test we'll now need to score the highest ever 4th innings score in a test at Trent Bridge  Angry  Shocked
