He did not bat well, but boy did he take some beaut catches, he was and probably still is a great fielder. If he had learnt to play himself in then who knows, and what people forget is the pressure he was under, he had to play here for 4 years before he could get permission to play for England, and every time he amassed a great score in county cricket the media would put stuff like 'Well Oz, you only have 2 years of dominance left, Hicks coming -he just never lived up to expectation.

He's having a very poor season in the Championship though - less than 100 runs in all matches. If it was anyone else he'd have been dropped by now. But hopefully he'll come good soon.
